Terms & Conditions
By creating an account or using WaveBeasts (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Local, offline play needs no account and isn't governed by the account terms below.
Your account
- You're responsible for your account, your node tokens, and activity under them. Keep your tokens private.
- One person, real usage - don't create accounts or nodes to abuse the Service.
Fair play
- Play the game as intended. Don't modify, forge, script, or otherwise fabricate beasts, stats, or currency for the online service. Only legitimately generated ("verified") beasts are eligible for trading and battles.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service or other players.
Virtual items
Beasts, currency (shards/cores), and items exist only within the game, have no real-world value, and can't be exchanged for money. We may adjust, reset, or remove in-game content as the game develops.
Premium subscription
- Price. WaveBeasts Premium is $5 per month or $50 per year, plus any applicable tax. Prices are shown at purchase and may change for future renewal periods with notice.
- Where you buy it. On wavebeasts.com, payment is processed by Stripe. In the Android app, Premium is bought through Google Play. An account uses one billing method at a time.
- Google Play purchases are billed, renewed, cancelled and refunded through Google Play under Google's terms. Manage or cancel them in your Google Play subscriptions.
- Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the period already paid for; there is no partial refund for the remainder beyond what the store's own policy provides.
- Deleting your account ends Premium access immediately. A Stripe subscription is cancelled for you; a Google Play subscription must be cancelled in Google Play. The remaining paid period is not refunded except as the store's policy requires.
Your content
You keep ownership of anything you submit (e.g. scans). You grant us the limited right to process it to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't submit anything unlawful or that infringes others' rights.
Availability & changes
WaveBeasts is an evolving, best-effort service provided "as is", without warranties. We may change, suspend, wipe, or discontinue features (or the whole Service) at any time. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for lost progress, items, or data.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and request deletion any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or abuse the Service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts located there.
